Humble Roots, Global Impact — The Mazik Journey
Mazik had a very humble beginning when three friends got together and started a technology company called MazikUSA out of a small two-room office in Park Ridge, IL, U.S.A. This was the time when .NET had just been released by Microsoft, and one of the partners jumped at the opportunity to build a completely web-based Education ERP product on the .NET framework. Within 12–24 months, many schools (300+) in the U.S. had signed up to deploy this K12 education solution. The solution had built-in features for city, county, and state requirements. At the end of their three-year journey, Tyler Technologies, a leader in the public sector in the United States, decided to acquire Mazik.
Growth as MazikGlobal
Once the acquisition was complete, Mazik’s founders started a new company based in the U.S. called MazikGlobal. Mazik built and developed several IPs within the manufacturing, public sector, and healthcare spaces. One of these, called MazikCare, received significant industry traction and was deployed by many healthcare institutions around the world. During this time, Microsoft and Tyler reached out to Mazik and asked the company to help develop their flagship ERP product, Microsoft Dynamics 2012. With a team of over 300 developers, testers, architects, and project managers, Mazik built Microsoft Dynamics over six years, which included coding 70% of the features for the public sector. After the release of Dynamics, Mazik teamed up with Microsoft and several key Microsoft SIs to implement, deploy, and support Dynamics in several major accounts globally. Eventually, MazikGlobal was acquired by one of Microsoft’s key partners, Quisitive, based in Dallas.

Another major accomplishment of Mazik was the development of an IoT platform that involved designing, developing, and building an end-to-end, hardware- and software-agnostic solution to automate operations and processes. With Mazik’s entry into the AI and NVIDIA Partner Program, the company has now launched AI, Microsoft Solutions, and IoT practices to help enterprises design and build products and services—providing a one-stop shop for analysis, development, implementation, training, and support.
